Review # 2 was written on 2008-05-05 00:00:00 Dale Lofton there are eight journeys whiche chage lives forver----a NewYork fashion buyers returns to her English home,(The way home) a successful author meets an old friend, (The natural of truth)a reproter travels to an execution, (just the fact)a lorry dirver gives an escaped prisoner an lift,(Water in the desert) a taxi driver picks up"Bruce Lee", a bus ride home chages a film writer's life and work, a man's love for a tram driver leads him to follow her, and four strangers mmet at a meotel for the first and last time. Comparing the strories happened in England, I prefer the strory happened in the U.S , and ralated to China,like The knowledge, Water in the Desert.When I read about"The pole is as big as TX", I smiled .
