Review # 1 was written on 2008-09-30 00:00:00 Johnathon Wilhite This is by far the best SerboCroatian dictionary that I have ever used. The pocket ones are decent for trips abroad, but this dictionary really isn't that large compared to all those hardcover Webster's English dictionaries. This also includes all of the different dialects. My problems with this dictionary are that they don't bother to note which words are most common in each language. Also, a few of the words were incorrect. It is good that there are examples of how to use the words, but they also do not indicate which is perfect and imperfected of each verb. |
Review # 2 was written on 2012-11-25 00:00:00 Scott P Lee This book is an awful dictionary. On the English-Bulgarian side, it translates the words using Cyrillic alphabet, yet doesn't offer the Romanized version, so how are you supposed to know how to pronounce it? What's a Westerner to do? |
