Review # 1 was written on 2017-09-25 00:00:00 Todd Helems I didn't end up reading much of this for the class I bought it for, but from what I can tell it's a quite useful book for someone interested in linguistics (particularly in phonology and phonetics).

Review # 2 was written on 2018-03-13 00:00:00 Jay Johnson An excellent, clear overview of a lot of the meta-processes behind learning a language. Probably not for everyone, though the authors make it as approachable as perhaps it could be, given how much they cram in this book.
