This is a wonderful study in MCI. MCI is such an imperative field and the authors provide a comprehensive, informative look into MCI. I thought the examination of biological markers between MCI and degenerative AD was brilliant. I would suggest that any future revisions (which I would happily read) include more examination of amnestic vs. nonamenstic MCI. I found the recent paper by Schmitter-Edgecombe, Woo, & Greely (2009) to be an eye opener concerning some of the similarities between the two types of MCI; particularly among the similarities in terms of central executive processing such as source and prospective memory.
