Review # 1 was written on 2009-02-08 00:00:00 Nigel Rabbetts Oh boy, I'm the first person to review this book! Uh, I'd recommend this for people who are interested in the history of the Sapir-Whorf hypothesis and the modern social-scientific perspective on it. If you are not interested in either of those things, you should not read this book. You would find it somewhat dry. |
Review # 2 was written on 2012-03-03 00:00:00 Evan Osborn We read the first half of this book for advanced phonology. It is a very good, quick introduction to OT. |
