Review # 1 was written on 2015-01-19 00:00:00 Tom Jensen Bellísimo librito cuyo nombre es engañoso. Newton es mencionado en varias páginas pero el libro no es exclusivamente sobre Newton- más bien es un compendio de científicos, particularmente astrónomos, contemporáneos a Newton y algunos un poco posteriores. Lo mejor que tiene es que está minuciosamente documentado y tiene una infinidad de ilustraciones increíbles. Vale la pena aunque no interese el tema. Es uno de esos objetos bellos con los cuales uno se encariña. Es de la misma colección de un (también bellísimo) libro sobre Mozart que tengo hace muchos años.

Review # 2 was written on 2020-11-20 00:00:00 Michael Gumowitz I found this book very interesting. It not only describes Newton´s discoveries but also all the evolution after him, and the confirmation of his theories. I found particularly funny the measurement of the length of 1 degree meridian, it is unbelieveable how they measured the distance between the earth and Mars for example with such archaich tools. Definitely recommend it.
