The book I an currently reading is called Louis Armstrong. It is about the great cornet player in history. Dharathula H. Millender wrote it. This was about Louis Armstrong's music career and many of the problems he had solved in his life back in 1900 - 1971. It was also about the spirit of the Armstrong family. My favorite part of the book was when Louis was still young, he got into a house where all the boys who had make mistakes and crimes stays. And he started trumpet instruments. The purpose of this book is to tell people to stand up and make good choices and to be strong and keep on going when you lose people you love by telling Louis Armstrong's the great cornet player's interesting life. My connection with this book is that, as I kept on learning and having fun in Cardigan Mt. School. I often felt helpless and wanted to cry for a long time. With homesick, it was TERRIBLE. I held my feeling for quite a long time as the school went better and better. Once, which was the first time that I cried. I was feeling stressful and having lots of problems with meeting the objective that the teacher wanted, I couldn't hold it anymore. That night after study hall, I cried and swore to god to learn harder as the school goes along. My parents and Mr. Holt told me that it was going to be okay, but there was somewhere in my heart that was saying, "No way!!!" The second day, I tried to keep my promise. Everything went well, and I had a succeeded my goal. After I read this book, I learned that it was okay to express yourself, but it is not okay to just give up. And I realized that it was so true when I thought about many of the experiences I had before. I would recommend this book to all the people because his life was something important for us learns about to solve many social problems. I like this book a lot even it was really sad, it is a good biography book.
