Review # 1 was written on 2018-04-14 00:00:00 Jeffrey C Millman Would Grant Wood read this book? It's another in the series of books by Mike Venezia exploring the lives and work of the world's greatest artists. This time it's Grant Wood, painter of--among other things--"American Gothic". This series is meant for kids, but adults (like me!) can appreciate them too. Mike Venezia is a great cartoonist with a wacky sense of humor, making these books both fun and informative. I've never been able to place the age range of the intended audience, but the text is simple, and a great overview of an artist no matter what your age. Check it out!

Review # 2 was written on 2014-05-05 00:00:00 Mariaelena Mendoza Getting to Know the World's Greatest Artists, Grant Wood is another entertaining and informative edition in this fantastic collection by Mike Venezia. These books are perfect for exposing elementary and junior high aged students to a large variety of artists and styles of art.
