Review # 1 was written on 2010-11-03 00:00:00 Petra Widmann I really liked this one. I almost felt like I was reading another writer. This one was humorous and light. Yes, they did mention a 'punishment' throughout the book, after I had read other reviews I was expecting to cringe in the bedroom with some S & M stuff. Maybe its just me, but it didn't seem that kinky. The story of the lamp was anticlimatic as it didn't do anything...so I didn't get that. I really liked the characters so I gave it 5 stars. I loved the side characters, her dad and his champagne. Teeny and her romance with Mr. Nettle, and Mr. Flock was cute too.

Review # 2 was written on 2018-10-12 00:00:00 Richard Caron This book almost requires a special category of "WTF". The book wasn't a very good romance imo. It had the pieces to be one, but mostly it was lust, random quickies, and lots and lots of talk about "Dominance" in ways and settings that mostly didn't make any sense. Oh and a random magic lamp mystery/murder plot that sounded taken from disney's version of Alladin (it sure didn't have anything to do with the original tale, despite all the allusions the book gave to that). I honestly don't even know how I am supposed to feel about this book. I think it was maybe one giant joke that I didn't really find that funny. So.. Don't like? I decided against trying any other books in this series or by this author for now.
