Review # 1 was written on 2014-06-15 00:00:00 Corey Slyford This is an interesting topic, but I feel like it needs a warning label to remind everyone that economics isn't a perfect science. Economic theory in the law has its place and value, but as usual legal economists assume every ill in the law can be fixed by efficiency and a graph. Economists are the only people even more likely than lawyers to assume everyone is a rational actor who will proceed like a laboratory model. Economics and contracts are a match made in heaven ' economics and criminal law are an Orwellian nightmare.

Review # 2 was written on 2014-02-23 00:00:00 Gunther Mainhardt Deeply interesting and thought provoking, despite the fact that the premise the book makes about the relationship between law and economics is debatable.
