Review # 1 was written on 2020-09-02 00:00:00 Renee Wartman A decent summary of artists who worked with watercolor from the 1700s to late 1900s and the cycle of watercolor being considered a sketching medium to fine art and back. The book was exceptionally dry with simultaneously too much commentary and too many names/dates. The lack of colored images (although there were some) was disappointing. There was also no real analysis. Not bad if looking for a summary of the medium + some artists to look up. Just make sure you have a decent amount of caffeine when you go in. |
Review # 2 was written on 2017-01-03 00:00:00 Billy Burleson This book literally changed my life. The first part was a little "airy-fariy" to me but after getting into the bulk of the book, you learn how to re-think of what you want to attract into your life. Thoughts are powerful and just as easily as you can attract prosperity, happiness, and love, you can attract just the opposite into you life as well. It's not a book that just tells you to think "happy thoughts" and all will be well, it goes deeper than that, and I go back and read sections of it over and over again when I feel as if I may be taking a downward spiral. I would recommend it to anyone. |
