Review # 1 was written on 2019-01-02 00:00:00 Expedito Guanabara Junior I don't like this book, but I can understand its usefulness in a classroom setting. It was very repetitive and felt as if it could have been condensed by at least another 50 or so pages.

Review # 2 was written on 2013-09-18 00:00:00 Chris Roper This book is dense, but it is a good intro to public bureaucracy. While this book is the center of a course I'm involved in, I would recommend it in concert with another book, perhaps one that highlights the actual human experience, personal stories, of working in bureaucracy. Even better the second time!
