Review # 1 was written on 2013-05-18 00:00:00 James Callaghan Traders make good authors when they share their street smarts and express themselves with the same voice they use in the market. I enjoyed this work and found it a useful overview of commodities trading. Kerr explains the types of products, best advice on trading, and important warnings. I got a little tired of the jokes used to lighten the explanation of jargon, such as head and shoulders pattern. |
Review # 2 was written on 2011-09-30 00:00:00 Wilbur Gore This book is a very basic introduction to various commidities being traded (and to their exchanges) and to futures/options, sprinkled with various stories from the author's career. It is far from being roadmap to anywhere, and the trading strategies discussed are the types of buy low/sell high recommendations and of seasonality. I did like drawings of the pit hand signals though. |
