Review # 1 was written on 2018-02-25 00:00:00 Jennifer Golden This is an outstanding explanation of Gandhi's philosophy. If you don't read anything else, read the chapter on satya (truth) and the one on ahimsa (non-violence). The text is profound but very clear and helpful, with many ways one can apply these ideas to our daily life. I also found the discussion on svadharma (individual duty) to be quite helpful. Overall, I highly recommend this book to anyone interested in growing as a thoughtful human being connected with the best our human history has to offer.
