Review # 1 was written on 2019-12-29 00:00:00 Garry Abbott Read a hefty portion of this for class. The bond graph method is quite useful and this book is quite good at introducing it. A 4th edition copy was handed down to me, but it is missing a lot of much-needed information that was fortunately added on in the 5th. If you can get the 5th edition, it will help out a lot for new students come Chapter 6 - Analysis and Control of Linear Systems. However, the material in Chapter 6 is much more widely documented than the bond graph modeling approach the book champions throughout the bulk of the other chapters.
