Review # 1 was written on 2013-07-06 00:00:00 Pepe Landa This cookbook has been fun to look at. I made a couple of recipes from it. I made Pork Chops and Apples which is really a no-brainer except I had never thought of doing that. I also made Beef and Kasha Mexicana. That made A LOT of food. A LOT. The ground beef was stretched with a buckwheat filler and it was really tasty. There was just so much and there's only the two of us. Finding kasha (buckwheat) was difficult - I found it in the Kosher section. Now if I had only been looking for quinoa, well that's everywhere. Other recipes in here look pretty good, too. There are lots of handy hints and plenty of pictures. If I owned this cookbook, I would make more of these recipes. |
