"From Quality to Business Excellence" gives the broad, true definition of Quality in an organization. It redefines Quality into Business Excellence. I like its short and concise definition of Business Excellence as the total quality of how the business operates as a system. The key concept around which the book revolves is to define a business in a systems approach. Just like the definition of any other software product, a business has to be defined high-level then drilled down to the process maps and metrics. The book gives detailed approaches in defining a business system. It starts with defining the business strategy, to business plans, to core processes, to process maps, ending with continuous improvement to maintain excellence in the business system. I recommend the book for any business owner as well as to business excellence professionals who are willing to achieve excellence rather than only product or service quality that the organization delivers.
