Mark Egan is a long-time friend and business associate. I am looking forward to reading about some of the discussions he and I have had over the years about IT security.

A bit dry. A bit redundant (but I think they were expecting people to dip in and out, not sit down and read like a narrative). A bit dated (that's on me, not the author). Still an excellent overview even if the author does consider a "small" company 1,000 people. The government considers a "small business" $10M or less in gross receipts so at least he's in the same range---I run a micro business and even though a lot of this did not apply to me, it did give me plenty of useful information and plenty of food for thought for what needs to be done as my business grows.
