Review # 1 was written on 2013-01-25 00:00:00 Heather Free This book is one of the classics of computing, for somewhere deep inside the dark mysterious silicone pathways of the "modern" computer there still exists the assembly language, direct contact to the inner workings of the computer, incredibly powerful and for evil computer villians like me knowing assembly language reassures me that if need be I can still give my stubborn misguided (by microsoft) computer a labotamy! Hahahahahahaha..... |
Review # 2 was written on 2011-06-06 00:00:00 Andrea Newman I don't remember when I read this exactly. Sometime when I was a teenager. Hard to wrap my head around at first but very useful when I "got it". Although it was old it was still relevant to my '486, following along with DOS's "debug.exe" program, and last TASM. Covers all the basics and gets to some graphics by the end, as I recall. |
