Review # 1 was written on 2010-09-09 00:00:00 Kyle Greever 2.5 stars I really was hoping for a good read with this latest EW book. The love story of Alex and Amelia seemed to take a back seat to the "mystery" of Anna and the family feud between the Hathaway and the St. James families. The limited amount of time that was devoted to our H and h was enjoyable to read, but I got a bit bored by the secondary characters of Aunt Sophia and Richard and the unraveling of the mystery. It was just not that interesting or mysterious...as a friend called it, lots of filler. Not the best start to a new series.
