Review # 1 was written on 2021-02-16 00:00:00 Kevin Hawes Five Stars from my five-year-old (who has asked for multiple re-reads). Three stars from me -- I'm more of a vintage Strawberry Shortcake girl, and even my little one asked why Strawberry has the same smile in every single picture, and why she says "berry" instead of "very" so many times ;-p Honestly, though, it's hard to find decent Valentine's Day picture books for kids, and most of them feature classroom settings, so it was kind of fun to have some variety since here Strawberry Shortcake travels around to her friends' (fun, imaginative, yummy-looking houses) to deliver valentines.
