Indispensable if you suffer from RLS. If you don't...please understand, this disease is possibly more common than diabetes, and it is not all in our heads...well, actually it is, but in a neurological sense rather than psychological. The author talks about the history and current research, and various ways we "Night Walkers" can find support and get relief. I only regret that the extensive list of doctors at the end is not accessible to me since I live outside the U.S.

If you had bought this book when it was new it might have been a great educational book. However reading it now 9 years later most of the information has become outdated and there are other books that cover this information better. The other thing is this had a lot of examples of how other people thought or felt, so it kind of had a "Chicken Soup for the Soul" sort of feeling to it. That would make it a decent read if you just want to hear how others afflicted with the same condition are feeling to compare yourself with. It's nice to know what others are going through and that you are not alone.
