In this book Davey and Goliath both cope with racism. Goliath disses a spotted dog because it doesn't have his fur color. Jonathan, Davey's black friend wants to teach his fellow black brother Scottie a lesson-that white folks are cool, too. Scottie blew his eyeballs out in a chemistry accident so Jonathan asks Davey to befriend Scottie's racist ass. As to be expected, Scottie finally has his bandages taken off and he realizes Davey is white, so racism has been cured for both dog and man. Kids will love the pictures which are stills from the Davey & Goliath shorts.

Sam and Alice are back in another crazy adventure!! This book is split up into three different stories: What's in Sam's sock?, The Jungle, and The Mummy. Sam and Alice are brother and sister who don't always get along. In these short stories you'll find out how imaginative the both of them can be and how they help each other out. Most of all they get along for the most part so they're able to show the relationship they both have with each other. I love all these books by Akemi Gutierrez.
