Review # 1 was written on 2019-03-07 00:00:00 Vicki Steiner It has been a while since I read it so for now I will leave it as 3.5 and I will hopefully re-read it and git it a more in depth review. I don't remember much and I want to give it a fair review.

Review # 2 was written on 2011-09-19 00:00:00 Robert Schaefer While this wasn't a bad book, it wasn't memorable either. The plot focused on a band leader whose stand-in trumpet player was found murdered. Of course the ending wraps up neatly (too neatly in my opinion) and the whodunit was essentially figured out by the bandleader's fellow musician who conveniently is a former investigator. I did like the Hollywood in the 1960s setting and the characters were likeable enough, but I probably won't read a book from this series again. I give it a C- -.
