Review # 2 was written on 2012-07-19 00:00:00 Eric Bojara Another cliche love story about yet another cliche obnoxious bitch. Nothing special, Nothing that makes me want to get to the end. Its becoming a very unfortunate trend in romance novels these days to have a female lead who's just completely awful. I personally don't want to waste my time reading about a horrible human being who gets off the hook simply because she's female. Sarcastic,Rude,Self-centered, Bossy and unbearably over-confident are not the traits of a strong woman...they're the traits of a BITCH! I'm confused as to how these horrible personality flaws became the definition of feminine appeal. Its disgusting to me. Whatever happened to the 'good wholesome girls' who know how to treat a man with respect, instead of demanding respect in return for nothing at all? I mean for instance the girl in this book has a gun pointed in her face by a complete stranger and still manages to throw in some sass and attitude in the heat of the danger. There's no fear, no reaction, nothing. Nothing to make me think of her as a real person. Only Attitude with a capitol A-It's incredulous, stupid and unrealistic. I've no need to go any further... If this is the direction romance novels are headed then I'll soon have to jump ship and find a genre that's worth it. **********************************
