Review # 1 was written on 2009-10-13 00:00:00 Gary Finney I opened this book expecting it to be just photos and captions. It was that, plus more. It was the story of the earth from creation to the present. How we have used the earth, expanded, exploited the earth, and where the hope lies for the future. The text was almost poetical and with the photos alongside, I thought it was an amazing message. Besides prints of Ansel Adams on Dr. office walls, I haven't seen his work. Amazing stuff. Makes me want to try black and white photography myself. I don't know if I have it in me!
