Review # 1 was written on 2014-12-26 00:00:00 Michelle Pembrook I learned a lot from this book and I really like the ideas behind action research. It's a good read for most teachers. |
Review # 2 was written on 2017-12-27 00:00:00 Clara Sletter Really enjoyable to read for an academic text. This was the sort of book that really encouraged me to think about theory in a new way, and convinced me that development of a theoretical orientation is a necessary step to all research. Because the text is grounded in educational research it's a bit outside my area of expertise. As such, I didn't always understand or relate to the material, but the introduction made me gasp out loud, more than once, in a good way. The only reason I didn't finish it? We weren't assigned more than a few chapters for this class, however it's a book I hope to come back to for leisure (weird). |
