Review # 1 was written on 2014-12-25 00:00:00 Jhone Linas Lots of really great classic landmark essays. bell hooks and Lorraine O'Grady were some of the most outstanding voices featured in this collection--they don't receive as much attention as they should in the outside world.

Review # 2 was written on 2007-06-17 00:00:00 William Woolley This was out of print for a while. I was so pleased when I was able to buy it from Amazon at a reasonable price. For a while there it was going on Ebay for hundreds of dollars. If you like Robt. Williams, you pretty much have to have this.
