Review # 1 was written on 2008-11-06 00:00:00 Thomas Mcmanus I read a chapter from this book called "Angel, Venus, Jezebel: Race and the Female Star in Three Thirties Films" in a film class and I really enjoyed it so I must come back to this book and check out the remaining chapters.

Review # 2 was written on 2012-10-23 00:00:00 Alice Zhang Superb book that was such an education to read. I never saw things in the same way after reading this book. Amazing
