I'd say it's a better example of how evolutionary psychology ropes off realities that sociobiology was positioned to engage with, more than anything. This book demonstrates how EP is a half-step away from social constructionism - placing it between SC and sociobiology. It's contents are close enough to being based in a good scheme that you can patch it as you read with your unauthorized understanding, pending you've already developed one. |
