Review # 1 was written on 2010-02-26 00:00:00 Martial Knopfer Not as detailed as others but a good, general start. Published to go with an infectious disease display at the American Museum of Natural History in 1999. Chapters or articles written by different authorities in the field. Last chapters focused on AIDS. I liked the case studies and profiles scattered through out. The computer images of various agents were eerie, especially of the viruses!

Review # 2 was written on 2011-03-11 00:00:00 Rudolph J. Beckstrom Good overview of comparative physiology. The language is readable and understandable and concepts are explained well.
