Review # 1 was written on 2015-10-27 00:00:00 Sanju Bhardwaj A useful concise overview of English Grammar. There is a good section about clause structure as well which is material that I was only familiar with due to studying other languages, but it is definitely helpful for improving writing skills. The brief section of commonly confused English words is useful such as the differences between affect/effect, council/counsel, accept/except, etc. which even native English speakers often confuse. There are plenty of practice exercises included with an answer key, so this is a good reference for those who are learning English and for native English speakers that want to improve their writings skills. It is a brief book, only 170 pages, but there is a lot of information contained in it despite its brevity.
