It's not a bad thing, it's just that the advice is all over the place. I did appreciate the last chapter on how managers can do to prevent burnout. The suggestions are not overly deep but they are nice reminders. |

Burnout is a condition that impacts people in their personal lives as well as in their jobs, no matter what definition the World Health Organization has adopted (for political or structural reasons). However, Overcoming Job Burnout doesn't say that burnout can only occur in a job context, it's just the context that Beverly Potter is talking about. Read more |
