Review # 2 was written on 2011-07-26 00:00:00 Ned Walters a good historical overview, but not great as a reference guide for directing actors using several types of approaches. would have been more useful if in addition to the history of each of the influential theatre teachers the author would have given a quick primer on how to use the approaches of each teacher in a practical setting.
