This book will be presented to a group by the author. It will be a working seminar so it should be very interesting to see how every one grows from this experience.

Very good. Always inspiring to read/re-visit theoretical foundations of practice. I work with trauma survivors and people who use abuse, and I especially found the language useful around the difficulty in having a mindfulness practice. This is Psych 101 techinque in-session...does the client have a relaxation/coping strategy. The language here around the difficulty in relaxing and creating the mind-body connection really opened my eyes for some of the walls I've been building with my clients. I have also used some of the countertransference language since that day. It is empowering to me to recognize that I am a human too :)
