Review # 1 was written on 2012-09-22 00:00:00 Larry W Plemons Jr The book was much more philosophical than I imagined, but I like the organized way in which he constructed his arguments. Never a "first" without a "second." Markers like, "The point I want to make here is..." When he quoted the likes of Hobbes and Augustine, he followed the quotes with carefully crafted "In other words..." or "To clarify..." There are some markings that lead me to believe that I read this book before, but the markings aren't color-coded, so I think I bought it used. The previous reader (or readers, maybe) were of a similar mindset to me. They weren't philosophers, but they found philosophy and technological theory to be enlightening. |
