Review # 1 was written on 2014-10-21 00:00:00 James Seelbach This is a 1995 book on Leadership at what may have been the beginnings of the field of study and pedagogy. I approached it like a collection of articles, a snapshot of what the field was like in its infancy/youth, to see what's still current today (as there would certainly be) and what seemed dated. There are 31 chapters in the book not including the Foreword/Preface, so I read one chapter a day (from 6 - 13 pages). I kept a pencil handy and sparingly marked the best bits as I read them, and starred the chapters that seemed most worth reading. If you like this pseudo-review and would like to know more, reply to ask which ones they are. 11 of the 31 chapters made this cut. This means 11 days of about half-hour to an hour's reading was time well spent, however, 20 days (I crammed at the end, so really, 18) was time to forget. I find as I get older and look back on all that I have read, the less patient I am with unspecific advice, the more economical I want to be in how I read and digest theoretical material, and the more attracted I am to works that either explain the facts of how a system works, or else creative fiction/non-fiction that I enjoy.

Review # 2 was written on 2011-10-18 00:00:00 Christopher Chedzey Awesome collection of knowledge from some amazing minds! As always though, it's about action based on information obtained. For anyone looking to lead anything, or anyone, I think this has some gems.
