I genuinely enjoyed the analysis of Rousseau's work, and if I have to agree with the other reviewer that it was a bit disorganized, it flowed together well. I particularly enjoyed the integration of the novels with his own Autobiography in everything. It painted a picture of Rousseau the author, and tied it together in the final chapter. If not a smooth read, certainly an enjoyable one. |
Review # 2 was written on 2018-05-23 00:00:00 Addy Spiller A bit disorganized, I like the idea of Rousseau not so much as a problem solver, but as a great critic of his times. It makes so much sense. |
