Review # 1 was written on 2016-12-06 00:00:00 Shana L. Porter A good (though overly cursory in places) history of English legal development. Also useful as a representative of the old view of jurisprudence. Would not recommend to laymen, however.

Review # 2 was written on 2017-09-10 00:00:00 D E Pogue This work looks into the social and mental world of 18th-century Bristolians - I enjoyed this because I live in Bristol, so it was fascinating, and crucial, that I learn about the city I live in history with the slave trade especially because Colston was taken down this year!
