I started getting into Kundalini this year. This book is written by one of Yogi Bhajan's closest disciples, Shakti Parwha Kaur Khalsa. It started to feel weird when it was clear she was repeating the leader's megalomaniac delusions. Yogi Bhajan won every race when he was in school. Yogi Bhajan says that only eat bananas for three days and your depression will stop. Then I googled him. It's an old story, but this guru is full of lies and destruction. I won't go into it but anyway...I'm not into Kundalini anymore. Fuck abusive male gurus. Fuck the dissolution of a beginning spiritual journey by the discovery that the leader is yet another rapist. Fuck the patriarchy, in short.
