Review # 1 was written on 2014-04-17 00:00:00 Derek Reede It is a very informative but technical book regarding the genetic mutation which causes CAH. Its audience is definitely the medical community, but with a bit of biology and chemistry background, it is not hard to understand. It is also a series of articles presented in a symposium about CAH in 1985, but it is not outdated. It is a good resource for understanding the scientific cause of CAH; the first chapter especially does a very good job of explaining an overview of CAH. It is also a great resource for knowing the different types of CAH and the symptoms of each mutation. |
