Review # 1 was written on 2008-02-11 00:00:00 Christopher Benke Great collection of Emerson's most famous works (including "Self-Reliance" and "American Scholar") as well as the fabulous essay by Margaret Fuller entitled "Women in the 19th Century." Emerson and Fuller were contemporaries and reading their works together is particularly interesting.

Review # 2 was written on 2020-08-12 00:00:00 Salvatore Oliveri Rodríguez isn't afraid to demand some effort from his readers. Those not up to it can jump like a frog on lily pads from block quote to generous block quote of excerpts from Rodríguez's incarcerated interlocutors.
