Review # 1 was written on 2021-03-25 00:00:00 Steve Strong Poems is the second of two collections of poetry by crime writer Agatha Christie. William Collins and Sons published the 124 pages hardcover edition in UK in 1973 while Dodd, Mead and Company published the hardcover in US. .he book is divided into two volumes .Volume I is reprint of the contents of earlier published work-The Road of Dreams, published by Geoffrey Bles in 1924. Volume-1 is divided into four parts- A Masque from Italy, Ballads, Dreams and Fantasies and other poems. Volume-2 is divided into four parts Things, Places, Love poems and others and Verses of Nowadys. This collection brings to life another aspect of Agatha Christie’s multi faced personality. However I did not find the poems or the ballads quite interesting.

Review # 2 was written on 2019-11-28 00:00:00 James Devoll I liked a sparse few of these quite well. The rest seemed divided between dull nature poems, variations on cheating lovers, and bad or pagan influenced theology. While I wouldn’t call any of these explicit, a few do have very sensual overtones, and I wouldn’t generally recommend those for younger readers.
