Review # 2 was written on 2008-06-13 00:00:00 Scott Anderson Although this book has a great array of different writers from various multicultural perspectives, the stories, poems, essays and play excerpts are dated. The students seemed to respond to the texts and surprisingly enough, I had a handful of students who were really struck by the Edward Said's essay on "the other." That was wonderful indeed!
