Somewhat technical like a doctoral thesis. But it did offer some insights into the divorce process and particularly why it takes so long. Interesting to see it from the lawyers points of view.

I will preface this review by saying I did listen to the audiobook. This also impacted how I felt based on the narrator. This book feels like when you start talking to someone at a party. At first you are intrigued with their stories, but then start to inundate you with details and names that really aren't important to the narrative of the story and you can't seem to get away from them talking and talking and talking.... The narrator probably didn't help with his tone of voice, but this guy just felt like a huge braggart. OH AND LET ME ADD--The Author's license to practice law was SUSPENDED in 2018 based on his behavior in a court case similar to one in his book. The author talks a lot about acting ethically in the book...but apparently just like anything people only tell you the version of the story they want you to hear.
