It ended! Without a sequel! Praise God! Why is it, that an author with talent like Quentin Carter has only a few books written and then we have other authors with NO talent whatsoever that have 15+? Can anyone explain this to me? Contagious was very good just as I expected. After reading In Cahootx and Hoodwinked I knew this would be along the same lines, talent-wise and it was. I don't have much time so I'll keep it short. I would recommend this to an urban fiction reader out of so many others. Carter will be around long after some of these others go belly up. He did a surprise twist thing too and I thought I saw what was coming all of a sudden and I was shocked. I was even more shocked when he twisted it even more and flipped it back to the beginning. This is probably almost the perfect blend of fiction and reality- you can't get much better than this in that department.
