Review # 1 was written on 2016-11-12 00:00:00 John Bradshaw Without a doubt, the best single-volume compilation of classical literature I've come across. Bernard Knox is so damn excited about the stuff he is editing that his introductions are amazing. For any who are trying to begin their journey through the classics, this is an excellent first step.

Review # 2 was written on 2010-08-03 00:00:00 Joelle Bowles I'm reading almost all of this book. Good book for selections, and quite good translations. I particularly like the snippets from less well known classical authors, such as Tyrtarus, Alcman, Hipponax, Alcaeus, Xenophanes, and more.
