Review # 1 was written on 2012-05-14 00:00:00 Richard Kraft LaTeX for Linux is not the most usable guide to LaTeX (pronounced "LAH-tech") available. In addition, it does not focus on Linux very much. However, even though it is not a good introduction to LaTeX, it is does have details on some of the more advanced features of LaTeX, which makes it a good reference to TeXperts.

Review # 2 was written on 2012-09-04 00:00:00 Bart Dhont Very helpful for getting started with graphics, though thankfully I think most of us use better graphics programs and simply insert more than create them from scratch anymore.
