I really don't know what to do with this book. On one hand it takes up valuable shelf space, and on the other, it has almost some historical value. Nostalgia! From a time when you navigated the Internet more with GOPHER than with browsers (anyone remembers Mosaic?), and dial-up modems were the way to connect. Included is a disk (a floppydisk!) that contains everything you need to connect to and navigate the Internet. I really would like to see what's on that disk, but there's no compatible drive in my house anymore. The first chapter answers some intriguing questions like What Is the Internet?, Where did the Internet come from?, and Where Is Internet Going?. I skimmed through this chapter, and it's amazing how inaccurate the predictions for the Internet's future were back then. ______________________________ This work is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 3.0 Unported License.

I say "read" but I really only browsed it. The authors seem to have tried to put forward the most academically acceptable treatise on the ISC2 ten domains. This is not helpful for test preparation. We called this book the "yellow brick" for good reason. Spend your money on something else.
