Review # 1 was written on 2010-07-10 00:00:00 Michael Chu It's a tiny book, a quick read, or more accurately, a quick glance through all the chapters is what I did. Although concisely written not of much use for me as it contains mostly proof by induction (or otherwise) for equations, theorems, corollary, and their postulates stating how they came into being. Explaining the thought process for most of the equations which we normally are made to memorize in middle/high school. |
Review # 2 was written on 2014-11-02 00:00:00 Hari Seldon Gildea swings between arid detail and rich morsels of insight. All in all worth reading, providing a good understanding of how France has redefined itself--and been redefined--since World War II. |
